A Swiftie’s Top 10 Current Artists

Listening to music is one of my favorite hobbies. I’m constantly playing it whether I’m sleeping, getting ready in the morning or unready at night, sometimes at school, at work, at the gym. I even go on car rides just to listen to my aux while driving. Music genuinely keeps me sane, and my taste in it is pretty constant but my favorite songs aren’t. I’ve always loved Taylor Swift. My favorite album of hers right now is folklore. I love it’s slow, calm vibe. If you are a Swiftie too, then I feel like you’d really like these other artists as well, who are also pretty well known!
#1: Rex Orange County:
Rex went viral on TikTok, his songs like Pluto Projector and Amazing were the main ones that were popular. My favorite songs of his are Best Friend, Always, Face to Face, Every Way, It Gets Better, New House, THE SHADE, and Pluto Projector.
#2: Lana Del Ray:
Lana is very well known, especially recently! I’ve had her on non-stop repeat for days now. My favorite songs of hers are Cinnamon Girl, Young And Beautiful, Mariners Apartment Complex, Video Games, and Summertime Sadness. Also many more of her songs!
#3: Cigarettes After Sex:
They’re also very popular on tiktok and most of their songs sound very alike. I like them most when I’m driving at night and want a slower vibe. My favorites are Apocalypse and Sunsetz!
#4: SZA:
She just recently dropped a new album called SOS, but she’s been popular for a while now. My favorite songs of hers are Snooze, The Weekend, Open Arms, Good Days, and Kill Bill. I also love All The Stars and Just Us which she’s also featured in!
#5: The Weeknd:
More of an upbeat vibe to switch it up! I love a lot of songs by The Weeknd but if I had to choose my favorites I would say Is There Someone Else?, Reminder, Creepin’, Die For You, and Lust For Life (which also features Lana Del Ray).
#6: Lorde:
These are such night-time songs in my opinion. Ribs is my go-to song when I have the aux in the car with my friends! My favorites are Ribs, Team, and Royals!
#7: Rihanna:
Obviously very well known! As you probably already know she just preformed at the Half-Time Show for the Superbowl! My favorites of hers are Shut Up and Drive, Needed Me, Only Girl, Bad, Love On The Brain, Stay, and Kiss It Better.
#8: Harry Styles:
Although I’m not a bigger fan than Gemma (nobody is), I love his music so much and I went to one of his concerts which was probably a top 5 life experience. It was so much fun and we got last minute tickets which made it even more exciting! My favorite songs of his are As It Was, Sign of the Times, Keep Driving, Boyfriends, Satellite, and Golden.
#9: Chase Atlantic:
His song Into It, Swim, and Friends were trending for a while last year. My favorites are Right Here, Slow Down, and Friends.
#10: Bruno Mars:
Pretty sure everyone knows Bruno! I’ve been listening to his music for as long as I can remember. My favorites are After Last Night, Leave The Door Open, Versace on the Floor, Just the Way You Are, Finesse, and Talking to the Moon.
