What’s In My Bag?

A girl’s bag is an extension of her indenting, and the contents inside can provide insights into her daily routine, hobbies, and priorities. Every girl has different necessities that they use every day. I keep a bag with me everywhere I go, to hold all the products that I need every day.

MAKEUP

I always keep a few makeup products on me just in case. Either when I need to retouch my face or when I have last minute plans where I can just grab my bag and fix myself up in the car. It enhances my natural features, boosts my confidence, and is a form of self-expression. So, these are some of the products that I keep in my bag.

Eyelash Curler

Keeping an eyelash curler on hand is incredibly beneficial because every girl loves having her eyelashes curled, and we all know that after work, they invariably fall straight. After a long day, curling my lashes just boosts my confidence. I apply an eyelash curler from Revlon. 

Gel Blush stick (Gel Crush) 

These are among the goods I adore the most. If you know me, you know that I am always pale, and this product helps my skin gain some pigment. Because I don't have much room in my bag, I don't like to really bring an entire blush palette and brush, so  having this little stick is very helpful. 

Lip gloss 

I always wear my Dior lip gloss and personally love the look of glossy lips even without a full face of makeup. It seems to wear off quick, so I have it on me just in case I need to reapply. 

Lipliner 

Having lipliner in my bag is incredibly helpful because my lips always end up being pale, making them appear smaller than they actually are. I enjoy pairing a natural lipliner color with my lip gloss since it improves the shape of my lips. The Charolette Tilbury in the shade pillow talk is my favorite. 

Chapstick 

I'm sure everyone agrees that we all need Chapstick on us, especially in the winter. I hate it when my lips are chapped or not feeling smooth. It must be one of my biggest pet peeves, so carrying this on me everywhere I go keeps my lips looking smooth and hydrated. 

HYGIENE PRODUCTS

Like everyone, I value personal hygiene and cleanliness. Maintaining good hygiene not only keeps me healthy but also helps me feel more confident and comfortable in my own skin. Here are some hygiene products I always keep on me: 
 

Perfume 

I always need perfume. I cannot go anywhere without it. I always make sure I smell good and fresh by using my mini–Victoria Secret Bombshell perfume. It gains my confidence and enhances my mood. 

Hand sanitizer  

It is always good to stay sanitary especially with the current epidemic of COVID and other viruses and illnesses. It's a good idea to sanitize your hands before and after eating, even while you're out and about. I use the basic mini-Purell because I am aware of how powerful it is. 

Tissues 

Tissues are a must-have item in a girl's bag, especially during cold and flu season. They can also be used to clean up spills or wipe away makeup smudges. It’s always great to have since they don’t always have tissues everywhere. Someone always seems to need one also. 

Pads/tampons 

As a girl, we always need these because a period can come out of nowhere. It is good to have even for friends and family around me who don’t seem to have any on them. I make sure I always have at least one on me when I go out. I have a little pouch in my bag where I store them. 

Gum 

I always have gum in hand and manage to run out quickly, if you know what I mean. To keep my breath smelling clean and fresh, I always carry along my favorite flavor of Trident spearmint gum. My gum is calming and serve as a terrific distraction, both of which help me to reduce stress and anxiety. It is helpful whether you're out and about, whether you're at work, school, a friend's house, or anywhere. 

RANDOMS

Every person has those random necessities they keep in their bag just in case of anything and here are mine: 

Wallet 

There is no question that anyone would agree that this is the most significant item in my bag. I keep my cash, credit cards, gift cards, and my permit here. Thus, this is my primary source when I'm out eating, shopping, and doing other things. 

Mini brush with mirror 

My hair is thick and long, and it tangles easily. My hair won't look messy by going fast to a bathroom to brush through my knots. The amazing thing about my hairbrush is that it has an integrated mirror that I use to check my face and reapply makeup. 

Portable charger 

I keep a portable charger on me because if I am out for long, I don’t want my phone to die and me not being able to contact anyone in case of an emergency. This is extremely useful and must be one of my favorite things in my bag.  

A Pen 

You never know when you might need a pen, especially when you are out and about. For example, if I need to leave a note for someone, write down a phone number, or fill out a job application, having a pen in my bag keeps me prepared. 

Air pods 

I love listening to music; it's one of my favorite activities, and for me, there is never a bad moment to do so. Having air pods with me is great so that I won't disturb people while I listen. It's also helpful when I'm out and can't hold my phone to my ear when I am on a phone call with someone. 

Overall, a girl's bag can reflect her personality, style, and lifestyle. While these items may vary from person to person, these all serve a purpose in making my day more comfortable and enjoyable.
