1. Bobo’s Café

Bobo’s Café is definitely a go-to in Somers! There is plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, or you can order to pick up on the Bobo’s Café app. You have a variety of drinks to choose from like coffee, matcha, and chai tea. They also have a great menu from sandwiches and burritos, salads, smoothie bowls. This location is the first of four, others including Chappaqua, Baldwin Place, and Ridgefield. Bobo’s is definitely a town favorite and is a great place to go out for breakfast or lunch! Download the Bobo’s app or check out their website to look at the menu.

2. Brown-dyed girl

Brown Dyed Girl, a boutique founded by Somers High School alumni, Jordan Baker, is a one-of-a-kind store. They are known for their tie dye sweat sets that have been worn by celebs and influencers like Jamie Lynn Spears, Olivia Culpo, Claudia Oshry, and Hannah Brown. Brown Dyed Girl’s new collection, “Heartbreaker & Spread Your Wings”, focuses on solid colors and features a winged heart design and an angel design. 3. King Kone

King Kone is a must when in Somers! This seasonal ice cream place is now open and ready for summer. You will find an abundance of hard ice cream flavors to choose from or you can order their famous soft serve. You can also find savory food on the menu like a classic burger and fries. King Kone is nostalgic and timeless and is always a good idea. I think everyone can agree because there is never a short line!

 4. Lasdon Park

Lasdon park is a great place to visit now that the weather is getting warmer! This 234-acre property features things like the arboretum and gardens which contain many different trees and flowers that are now in bloom for spring. The William and Mildred Lasdon Memorial Garden is a formal garden that has a lovely fountain, hedges, and flowers. The Chinese Friendship Pavilion and Cultural Garden is definitely one of the best spots in Lasdon Park. It features a gorgeous ornate pavilion gifted by Westchester county’s sister city, Jinzhou in China. It overlooks a beautiful pond and is surrounded by the Cultural Garden which contains native Chinese vegetation. You can also visit the Veterans Museum and the Trail of Honor, as well as the Dinosaur Garden and the Magic of Spring event in the greenhouse. Lasdon Park also has a series of hiking trails featuring serene waterfalls and vegetation.

5. Froggy’s

Froggy’s Deli is a staple of Somers! They definitely have some of the best sandwiches and wraps like the Texas Hold ‘Em, the Mama Russo, or a classic Bacon, Egg, and Cheese. Right next door to the deli is Froggy’s Pizza, where you can find pizzas with crazy toppings like the Lawsuit Pizza or the Philly Cheese Pizza. Froggy’s also has locations in Pawling and Brewster, but Somers claims the original. Check out the Froggy’s Deli and Froggy’s Pizza websites to see the menus.
