Not everyone has the same style, but everyone knows that there are some staple pieces that every person needs to have in their closet. They go universally with any style or outfit. Examples could be a white t-shirt, black leggings, joggers, or any solid colored, comfortable clothing. These can be tricky to find though, because some of them can wind up being see through, not the right shade of the color you want, or not comfortable enough. I’ve collected a bunch of these staple items and I figured I’m sharing my favorite places to get them with you!

The first place I always look is H&M. Their clothing is so comfortable and always come in the cutest neutral colors. They have clothing on the modest side, along with more revealing things, making them really versatile and reliable for any occasion. I have so many pairs of their jogger sweatpants but honestly, can you ever have enough? They sell almost every clothing item in their basic section in all the same colors, so they make it easy to match pieces together for a monochrome outfit, which is always a good idea!

Another place I like to look at for basics is Brandy Melville USA. They might reign supreme for the most comfortable clothes. Their sweatpants though; indescribable! They cinch at the ankle and are the softest things ever. They take the most basic shirt and give it a cinch or a tie somewhere, and boom. Perfection. Most things they sell are around the $20-$25 frame, but I know the sweatpants might be a little bit more expensive. Definitely a good option! Everything they sell, though, is one-size fits all, which you do have to be careful of because that could not be farther from the truth.

One more of my favorite places to get staple items is PacSun. They have a little section of loungewear and basics. Their stuff is always up to date with the trends and they never miss a beat. They have biker shorts in all different colors and prints, tank tops of all lengths and colors and necklines, lounge shorts that are so soft and perfect for pajamas, and more! They do tend to be a bit up there in the prices compared to the other two stores I mentioned, but not by much which is good!

Make sure to check out these stores whenever you're in need of some basic staple items and hopefully you’ll find what you need!
