Skincare Routine Synopsis

AM:  

• Murad, Acne Control, Clarifying Cleanser: This product contains 1.5% Salicylic Acid, which is known for reducing acne by exfoliating the surface of your skin and cleaning out all your pores.  

• My opinions on this product: This stuff really helped to clear my skin and after you use it, your face feels like what I call “minty” (aka the best feeling in skin care). 

• Drunk Elephant, C – Firma Day Serum: “A revolutionary vitamin C serum packed with a powerful antioxidant complex of I-ascorbic and ferulic acids to reveal a brighter, firmer, and more even-looking complexion. The result is a noticeably diminished appearance of UV photo damage and aging, replaced by incredible radiance and luminosity”. 

• My opinions on this product: From constantly wearing the face masks, my skin tends to break out around my mouth and I can’t help but pick at it. This product really helped me with minimizing my scars and making my skin one tone.  

• Drunk Elephant, Virgin Marula Luxury Facial Oil: “…like a rehab for your skin. Rich in critical antioxidants and omegas 6 and 9, marula nourishes and balances while restoring a youthful glow”. 

• My opinion on this product: It literally makes my skin look hydrated and glowy throughout the day.  

• Drunk Elephant C-Tango Multivitamin Eye Cream: “…a rich and restorative, featuring a brightening combination of eight peptides, five forms of vitamin C and cucumber extract for firmer, stronger looking skin around the eyes”. 

• My opinion on this product: It has really helped to illuminate my under-eye bags and tighten the area around my eyes.  

• CeraVe, Daily Moisturizing lotion: This product contains hyaluronic acid, which helps hydrate the skin and helps retain the skin’s moisture. It is fragrance free. 

• My opinion on this product: This is a really light and airy moisturizer that I apply in the morning because it doesn’t feel like there is a layer of products on my face. I love how it lets my skin breathe during the daytime.  

• Drunk Elephant, Umbra Tintee Physical Daily Defence: This product is a SPF and it protects your skin from the damaging UV radiation.  

• My opinion on this product: I would consider this the most important step in one's skin care routine because this product can reduce aging. I know that may sound a little hyperbolic, but even when you are inside all day UV can enter through the windows, so it’s very important to apply this stuff every day.  

PM:  

• CeraVe, Acne Foaming Cream Cleanser: “Clears acne pimples and blackheads, helps prevent new acne and allows skin to heal. Maintains the skin barrier and leaves the skin feeling comfortable”. 

• My opinion on this product: I use this in the shower and I actually notice a difference in the texture of my skin as it reduces any bumps. 

• Drunk Elephant, B-hydra Intensive Hydration serum: “Like a cool drink of water for your thirsty skin, this ultra-hydrating serum replenishes the complexion and improves the look of skin texture and tone…delivers steady hydration throughout the day, leaving the skin more illuminated. Your complexion will appear brighter and more youthful upon every application”. 

• My opinion on this product: It really hydrates my skin and makes it firm and plump.  

• Drunk Elephant, T.L.C. Framboos Glycolic Night Serum: “A high-tech AHA/BHA gel that resurfaces dull, congested skin by gently lifting away dead skin cells, dramatically improving the appearance of skin tone, texture, fine lines, wrinkles and pores. The result is the look of greater clarity and luminosity, practically overnight”. 

• My opinion on this product: This product makes my skin look and feel really smooth overnight.  

• Drunk Elephant, Shaba Complex Eye Serum: “A satiny eye serum formulated with a powerhouse of ingredients to tackle the major signs of aging under and around the eyes such as fine lines, wrinkles and sun damage. The result is rested, more youthful appearance”. 

• My opinion on this product: Reduces the lines I get under my eyes from squinting.  

• Drunk Elephant, Protini Polypeptide Cream: “This breakthrough protein moisturizer combines an unprecedented array and concentration of signal peptides, growth factors, supportive amino acids and pygmy water lily for visible and immediate improvement in the appearance of skin tone, texture and firmness”. 

• My opinion on this product: A medium weight moisturizer that hydrates my skin and is a great way to end my nighttime routine.
